Sports Achievements 2013
Our girls have as individuals as well as teams had a very good sporting year with a great platform to compete and achieve greatness.
The following girls made it into the provincial teams through a selection made at the Basketball U17 NASH tournament.
The U14 team came third, and therefore receiving bronze medals at the U14 top schools qualifier.
The following girls played in the youth games:
Blessing Samson travelled to Namibia with the Zimbabwe National Basketball team
The Panthers (our 1st team) won the Petra Invitational Tournament this year for the seventh year running.
Our U16 team won this year’s Convent Invitational Basket Tournament for the third time.
The Southern Section Chisz Provincial Trials saw a good number of our girls being selected into the team.

Our hockey teams had an exciting season with many of our girls making it into the provincial teams. The following made the U16 and U18 teams:
Rumbidzai Makamure, Tinaye Chirambaguwa, Shirley Mpofu, Francine Nkomo, Sherlyn Bennett, Ruvimbo Chagonda, Deadre Binamu, Mhlengiwethu Mahlangu, Thulisile Mpabanga, Tanyaradzwa Magunje and Rutendo Makamure.
Maxine Nkomo, Mandisa Mgutshini, Gugulethu Khupe, Eleanor Mwampamba, Blessing Samson, Itai Mahamba and Charmaine Maphosa.
Norah Tarwirei made it into the Matabeleland Swimming Team.
The following girls made it into the Tennis provincial teams:
Rumbidzai Makamure, Nicole Chigwada, Rutendo Makamure, Maxine Nkomo, Tanyana Magonya, Nicole Dumbujena, Teboho Nare, Sisasenkosi Moyo, Francine Nkomo
Nicole Dumbujena and Tanyaradzwa Magunje made it into the tennis national team
